Each year a new school handbook of rules and expectations is sent home for parents to review with their students. It includes the Kootenai Mission Statement, a letter of greeting from Principal Kline, rules and behavior expectations at Kootenai Elementary, and Lake Pend Oreille School District #84 policies and procedures.

Please take time to go through the handbook in detail. Every year, the handbook is revised and updated. After reviewing the handbook, please SIGN BOTH SIDES of the final page and return the signed page to the classroom teacher.
Please note that in order for students to use computers at Kootenai Elementary, the acceptable use policy agreement form must be signed and returned. (The acceptable use policy begins on page 16. The agreement form is page 38, the final page of the handbook).
