Seasons Greetings, Kootenai Families!

I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving filled with joy and gratitude--and that you are ready for an exciting December ahead. We have a couple of weeks packed with engaging learning opportunities and festive celebrations. Mark your calendars for our holiday music performance on Wednesday, December 18th, featuring our talented 3rd and 5th graders! More details will be coming soon via email. Also, to spread joy and holiday cheer, we have three weeks of spirit days! Check out the details (in the flyer below) if your child is interested in joining in on the fun!

This week, we also kicked off our 13th Annual Collection for a Cause Fund Drive, aimed at providing Kootenai families with support with food over Christmas Break. Please consider contributing to the cause or reach out if your family needs to receive a food box this year (see details on the flyer below).

Finally, I want to express my gratitude to our incredible families, staff, and community members who make this school a wonderful place to learn and grow. May the holiday season bring your family an abundance of love and joy!

SCHOOL ENROLLMENT

Enrollment is REQUIRED for ALL families (new and returning). Go to LPOSD's enrollment information page for details. All families MUST upload proof of residency (utility bill or rental agreement).

You MUST sign up for a Parent PowerSchool account at https://lposd.powerschool.com/public before you can enroll a returning student.

NEW and CURRENT/RETURNING families who would like to be considered for enrollment in a school OTHER THAN their zoned school ("open-enrollment") must fill out the open enrollment application.

SEE - TELL - NOW

All schools in Lake Pend Oreille School District utilize See, Tell, Now! -- a Student Threat Reporting System. The anonymous tip line is staffed by trained technicians who receive and evaluate tips 24/7. The tips are screened for accuracy and severity, then assigned to school points of contact or law enforcement, if applicable.
