Happy Fall, Kootenai Families!
As we enter this season of gratitude, I want to share how thankful I am for our amazing teachers, staff, students, and YOU. Thank you for entrusting us with your children each day and for partnering with us to support their growth and success. Parent-Teacher Conferences are just around the corner! Conferences will take place on Wednesday, November 19, and Thursday, November 20. Your child’s teacher will be sending out a link to sign up. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate what we LOVE about your child as well as discuss their progress so far this school year. We also have some exciting events coming up in November:
Title I Family Bingo Night
Veterans Day Musical Performance
Idaho Family Reading Week
And after Thanksgiving Break, we’ll gather for Kootenai Family Movie Night. We hope you’ll join us for these special opportunities to connect, celebrate, and learn together.

SCHOOL ENROLLMENT INFORMATION
Enrollment is REQUIRED for ALL families (new and returning). Go to LPOSD's enrollment information page for details. All families MUST upload proof of residency (utility bill or rental agreement).
You will need to sign up for a Parent PowerSchool account at https://lposd.powerschool.com/public before you can enroll a returning student.
NEW and CURRENT/RETURNING families who would like to be considered for enrollment in a school OTHER THAN their zoned school ("open-enrollment") must fill out the open enrollment application.

SEE - TELL - NOW
All schools in Lake Pend Oreille School District utilize See, Tell, Now! -- a Student Threat Reporting System. The anonymous tip line is staffed by trained technicians who receive and evaluate tips 24/7. The tips are screened for accuracy and severity, then assigned to school points of contact or law enforcement, if applicable.
