Greetings Kootenai Families, 

I can hardly wait to share all we have in store for the month of March! We are kicking off this first week with Read Across America Week, where we are celebrating the LOVE OF READING across our school. Reading is a gift that lasts a lifetime! It strengthens our minds, fuels our creativity, and helps us connect with the world around us 🥰

In addition, in just two short weeks (Friday, March 14th) we will host one of my favorite days of the year, STUDENT-LED CONFERENCES! During conferences, your child will lead you through his/her classroom to show off all of their hard work, growth, and progress so far this school year. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy life to acknowledge the hard work your child puts forth day after day.

In addition, we’ve already started REGISTRATION for the upcoming school year! This is INCREDIBLY important since our class sizes have grown. Please save your child’s spot for next year by completing online registration (CLICK HERE). In addition, we will also be hosting the KINDERGARTEN ROUND-UP on Tuesday, March 25th (details on pg. 4 of our newsletter, linked below).

SCHOOL ENROLLMENT

Enrollment is REQUIRED for ALL families (new and returning). Go to LPOSD's enrollment information page for details. All families MUST upload proof of residency (utility bill or rental agreement).

You MUST sign up for a Parent PowerSchool account at https://lposd.powerschool.com/public before you can enroll a returning student.

NEW and CURRENT/RETURNING families who would like to be considered for enrollment in a school OTHER THAN their zoned school ("open-enrollment") must fill out the open enrollment application.
