A Message from the Principal:
November 1, 2024
As we jump into a season of giving thanks, I want to share how grateful I am for our teachers, staff, students, and YOU! Thank you for entrusting us with your children each and every day and partnering with us to ensure their success.
I can hardly wait to have you join us for Parent-Teacher conferences, which will start Wednesday, 11/13, and go through November 22nd. Your child’s teacher will be sending a link to sign up for a conference, which is a great time to hear about what we LOVE about your child, in addition to speaking about your child’s progress so far this school year.
In addition, next week we will kick off Idaho Family Reading Week, have our Title I Family Bingo Night, and honor our veterans with a musical performance! After Thanksgiving Break we will host Kootenai Family Movie Night (12/5/24). We look forward to seeing you!
As always, please check out our social media pages (Facebook & Instagram) for updates, pictures, and additional information! Also, to view our full November Newsletter, please CLICK HERE. Looking forward to a fantastic fall!
In gratitude,
Summer Tigert, Principal
SCHOOL ENROLLMENT
Enrollment is REQUIRED for ALL families (new and returning). Go to LPOSD's enrollment information page for details. All families MUST upload proof of residency (utility bill or rental agreement).
You MUST sign up for a Parent PowerSchool account at https://lposd.powerschool.com/public before you can enroll a returning student.
NEW and CURRENT/RETURNING families who would like to be considered for enrollment in a school OTHER THAN their zoned school ("open-enrollment") must fill out the open enrollment application.
If you are having issues with the process, please email: helpdesk@lposd.org.
SEE - TELL - NOW
All schools in Lake Pend Oreille School District utilize See, Tell, Now! -- a Student Threat Reporting System. The anonymous tip line is staffed by trained technicians who receive and evaluate tips 24/7. The tips are screened for accuracy and severity, then assigned to school points of contact or law enforcement, if applicable.
