Hello Kootenai Families,

I hope this message finds you enjoying a relaxing and joyful summer! 

This is a time to recharge, reflect, and reset. As we prepare for another exciting school year, our team is already looking ahead with enthusiasm and care. We’re planning meaningful learning experiences, refreshing our classrooms, and thinking of ways to continue building a strong, supportive school community for every child.

We’ve already started REGISTRATION for the upcoming school year! This is INCREDIBLY important since our class sizes have grown. Please save your child’s spot for next year by completing online registration (CLICK HERE). 

We can’t wait to welcome you back in the fall and hear all about your summer adventures. Until then, enjoy the rest of your break—stay safe, stay curious, and keep learning in all the ways summer allows.

SCHOOL ENROLLMENT

Enrollment is REQUIRED for ALL families (new and returning). Go to LPOSD's enrollment information page for details. All families MUST upload proof of residency (utility bill or rental agreement).

You MUST sign up for a Parent PowerSchool account at https://lposd.powerschool.com/public before you can enroll a returning student.

NEW and CURRENT/RETURNING families who would like to be considered for enrollment in a school OTHER THAN their zoned school ("open-enrollment") must fill out the open enrollment application.
