Dear Kootenai Families, 

I hope you have had a wonderful summer and have had the opportunity to relax, make memories, and enjoy time with family and friends. As we get closer to the start of the school year, there is a great deal of excitement around Kootenai. Our staff has begun preparing classrooms and getting everything ready to welcome our Pirates back. We are so excited to see everyone!

Our office will reopen on August 25th. If you have questions, need to register a student, or need assistance before school begins, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are always happy to help. 

We hope you'll join us for our Open House on Wednesday, September 2nd, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. This is one of my favorite events of the year! It give students the opportunity to meet their teacher, find their classroom, drop off school supplies, reconnect with friends and begin building excitement for the year. We can't wait to welcome you back into the building!

As we finalize our enrollment for the school year, I have one small favor to ask. If your student will not be returning to Kootenai this fall, please let our office know as soon as possible. Having accurate enrollment numbers helps us finalize class lists and ensures we are prepared to meet the needs of all of our students. 

We are looking forward to another fantastic year at Kootenai and can't wait to welcome everyone back.
