Kootenai Families,

I can hardly believe it’s May! This month will be filled with fun, excitement, and opportunities to create lasting memories.

We look forward to celebrating our amazing Kootenai Crew during Staff Appreciation Week—a special time to recognize the dedication and care our staff bring to students each day.

Students in grades 3–6 will finish ISAT testing, and our Kindergarten through 3rd grade students will take the AMIRA / IRI (Idaho Reading Inventory). We are excited for all of our students to showcase the growth and learning they’ve achieved throughout the school year.

As we head into this busy and exciting month, we would love to welcome you into Kootenai Elementary! There are many opportunities to get involved, including class field trips and Field Day. If you’re interested in volunteering, please reach out to your child’s teacher— we truly value your partnership and the opportunity to create meaningful memories together.
